As part of Peace IV we took part in the Oink! Project. This project provides piglets to poor families in the country of Laos in the South-East of Asia.
Each class filled piggy banks and raised enough money for four piglets. The students even got to name the piglets!
Today Beth Montgomery from the Oink project came into school to explain all about their mission. She showed the classes images of the families with their new piglets in Laos and explained how much their fundraising has helped poor families in the South-East of Asia.
