We had a brilliant day at Letterkenny Community Centre for Sports Day. We were joined by Castletown & Portlean National School. The kids had lots of fun mixing with the all the other children.
From the moment we arrived it was all go. We fitted loads into the day. It involved four activities which the boys and girls loved.
Activity one-Relays (egg & spoon, Basketball, hoops, skipping ropes etc.)
Activity two-soccer skills and fun games.
Activity three-rounders, lacrosse, parachute games, dodgeball etc.)
Activity four-inflatable obstacle course.
We saw a fantastic level of sportsmanship from all of the children and the level of teamwork displayed was out of this world!
What a way to end Active School Week! All of the students gave 100% in every activity this week and were presented with a medal and a certificate to mark their participation in Active School Week.
