As part of Peace IV the students had the opportunity to learn how to make ropes with Steffi Otto.
Steffi shared traditional techniques of rope making with the students and explained how ropes would have been used over the years.
Students were fascinated as she showed them just how to make a rope, twisting them into strong and very usable lengths of rope. The experience was another example of how groups had to work collaboratively to succeed.
She also taught the children new types of outdoor games that she made herself from wood.
It was a fun learning experience for all!
