Walking around Ballyare

We kicked off our Active Sports Week with a school walk to the old Tully school and Ballyare woods. 

Tully school was the original school in Ballyare before Scoil Cholmcille, Drumman. Having explored the history of the locality in class, it was great for the students to explore the local area on foot. 

The senior classes began the walk to Tully school followed by the middle classes to Ballyare woods. Tomorrow the junior classes will enjoy their walk to the woods.  

It was a fantastic way to start Active Sports Week!
