Last Friday, the senior room in Drumman held a bake sale to support two local charities, Springboard Donegal and Ruby’s Fight for Life. This bake sale was the conclusion to a very successful Maths week and was organized to foster community involvement and provide students with a meaningful way to contribute to important local causes.
Through generous contributions from students, parents, staff, and community members, the bake sale raised an impressive €940. All proceeds were split equally between Springboard Donegal and Ruby’s Fight for Life, with each charity receiving €470.
Leigh collected the funds on behalf of Springboard Donegal, an organization dedicated to providing support services for families and individuals in need throughout the Donegal region.
Óisin and Lucy presented the donation for Ruby’s Fight for Life to Taylor, Daithí, Ellie, and Darragh. The students showed immense pride in their contribution and were commended for their efforts in raising awareness and funds for these causes.
