Grandparent’s Day Mass

As part of Catholic Schools Week, the Drumman community gathered in the school hall to celebrate Grandparents’ Day mass. It was a special occasion to recognize and appreciate what grandparents bring into our lives.

We extend a huge thanks to Fr. Gorman for coming in to celebrate this mass with us. Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us, it was wonderful to see so many present to share in this meaningful celebration.

The hall was beautifully decorated with artwork created by the children, showcasing their love and appreciation for their grandparents.

Thanks to all the teachers with a special mention to Mrs Martin and Mrs Claydon for preparing the students so well for the mass and for leading the beautiful music. The students did a fantastic job reading the prayers, speaking clearly and with great confidence.

After the Mass, we held an exciting raffle with fantastic prizes, including bingo cards and hampers, bringing fun and excitement to the day.

We ended the celebration with tea and treats served by the Parents Association, where grandparents, students, and staff enjoyed a lovely time together. It was a truly memorable day, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to making it such a success!
