We were very lucky to have a special visitor in school today, past pupil Jamie O’Brien.
Jamie kindly took the time to speak to the senior room about his career as a jockey, sharing what his job involves and the dedication it takes. It was great to hear about the hard work and talent that have brought him success.
One very excited riding enthusiast, Roman, was especially thrilled to meet Jamie. Jamie generously gifted him a pair of breeches-the trousers jockeys wear.
A big thank you to Jamie for his visit and for being a great role model, inspiring the next generation of jockeys.
