Today was a very special day for our school as three lucky members of the Green Schools Committee had the exciting opportunity to travel to the Radisson Hotel in Letterkenny to collect our school’s 8th Green Flag!
This latest achievement is for the theme of Global Citizenship-Marine Environment, recognizing the incredible efforts our students and staff have made to protect and raise awareness about our oceans and marine life.
The flag was proudly presented by the Mayor of Donegal County Council, Niamh Kennedy, who congratulated the children on their commitment to environmental education and action.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Martin for her ongoing leadership and dedication to the Green Schools programme. Thanks also to every member of the Green Schools Committee for their hard work, passion and teamwork in making this achievement possible. Your efforts not only help our school but contribute to a healthier planet for everyone.
This 8th Green Flag is a true testament to the dedication and care our school shows for the environment and we look forward to continuing this important work in the years ahead!
