A huge well done to all the pupils who took part in our school draughts competition, the enthusiasm, focus and friendly rivalry on display made it a real highlight!
Special congratulations go to Oisín Doherty, who was crowned the Draughts Champion after a series of excellent matches. Oisín showed great concentration and strategy throughout the tournament and is a very worthy winner!
Also, a big round of applause for Jaxon Gallagher, who put in a fantastic performance to finish as runner-up. It was a close and exciting final between two very talented young players.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls who took part, it was brilliant to see such sportsmanship, patience and fun in every game. Well done, First Class!
