Junior Entrepreneur Programme, Senior Classes

Dragon’s Den

The Senior Room have been busy taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme and this week they showcased their fantastic ideas at a Dragon’s Den event held in school.

We were delighted to welcome our Dragons Master Shiels, Mrs Mc Gee and Seimí Mc Daid who generously gave their time shared their knowledge and asked thoughtful questions.

Each of the six groups confidently presented their business ideas showing great creativity teamwork and strong cost awareness. All of the ideas were impressive and very cost efficient.

The six business ideas presented were

• Drumman Teabags

• Drumman Biscuit Pops

• Outstanding Oreos

• Drumman Sweet Bottles

• Race to Sam

• Ballyare Bunny Baskets

After careful consideration the Dragons selected the board game “Race to Sam” created by Michaela, Cormac F and Lucy as the winning idea. Well done to the team on a brilliant concept. We cannot wait to buy and play the game.

A big thank you to the Dragons for coming in and supporting the students. It was a fantastic learning experience and the Senior Room should be very proud of themselves.
