We celebrated Grandparents Day in school with a very special service that truly reflected the love and appreciation the children have for their grandparents. During the service the children sang beautiful songs and read thoughtful prayers showing just how important grandparents are in their lives and the role they play each day.
The children also proudly showcased their artwork which highlighted what they admire most about their grandparents and the many ways they make life so special. It was lovely to see the grandparents enjoying the displays and hearing the children explain their work.
After the service the grandparents had time to socialise together while enjoying tea and treats in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We also held a raffle with lots of lovely hampers and Termon Bingo cards.
Well done to all the children and staff for the hard work and effort that went into making the day so memorable and thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate this wonderful occasion with us.
