Peace Plus Day at the Foyle Arena in Derry was an absolutely brilliant day from start to finish. Drumman and Portlean came together to enjoy a busy active and fun-filled day that really highlighted teamwork cooperation and friendship. The atmosphere was fantastic with lots of excitement and smiles as everyone got involved in the wide range of activities on offer.
The seniors and middle room had a great time taking part in energetic hall games showing excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. One of the main highlights for the seniors was the wall climbing activity which challenged them both physically and mentally. They showed great determination and confidence as they took on the challenge.
The juniors also had a wonderful day enjoying a variety of playground games that kept them active and engaged. They especially loved the parachute games which encouraged cooperation turn taking and lots of fun.
