A huge thank you to Garda Colm Mc Gonigle from Milford Garda Station for visiting our school to speak to the Middle and Senior Room students about the importance of internet safety.
The talk was both informative and engaging highlighting the dangers associated with social media and online gaming platforms such as Roblox and the importance of being responsible and respectful online. Students learned about protecting their personal information recognising online risks and knowing what to do if they ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe while using the internet.
In today’s digital world these conversations are more important than ever. We are very grateful to Garda Colm Mc Gonigle and Milford Garda Station for taking the time to support and educate our students on staying safe online.
