Planting Seeds
The junior class have been learning all about Spring. They discovered all the things plants need to grow and even planted their own seeds! They will grow them indoors in the classroom and when they have grown, they will bring them home to plant in their own gardens.
Our lovely flower boxes
Spring has sprung and the bulbs we planted have blossomed into beautiful flowers brightening up the school building. Our new flower boxes that the students designed with bottle caps really stand out with all the lovely flower colours!

Ballyarr Woods
Miss Kelly’s class had a brilliant day exploring Ballyarr woods thanks to Glenveagh National Park who took them on a tour of the Park. Making Houses
The junior room had lots of fun making different types of homes using recycled materials. Using recycled materials to make crafts was a fun way to teach the students about the benefits of recycling. All the houses turned out great and the class really enjoyed making them.
Planting Bulbs in our flower boxes
The middle and senior classes enjoyed planting bulbs that will flower during the Spring. They discussed what is important for a flower to grow and will make sure to water them.
