Radio Stars
Well done to Katie Burke and Zack Ferry who spoke so well on Highland Radio on World Book Day. The were at the launch of ReadDL with Miss Kelly in the LYIT and talked on air about this year’s book called “Checkmate” by Stewart Foster.
World Book Day
Today we celebrated World Book Day in School and we had loads of fantastic costumes. It was great to share our love of books by dressing up as our favourite characters. Ballyarr Woods
Miss Kelly’s class had a brilliant day exploring Ballyarr woods thanks to Glenveagh National Park who took them on a tour of the Park. Drama Workshop
We had a very successful workshop with Andrew Tunney today. The kids loved it. It was a great day full of endless fun and laughter. Watch out for some future Drumman acting stars.

Well Done Eva
A big well done to our 6th class student Eva who was competing in a Hip Hop competition in Dublin at the weekend. She did brilliant winning the doubles and finishing an amazing fifth place in the solo category. Congrats Eva🥳💃🏆
An Bosca Leabharlainne
We were the lucky winners of ‘An Bosca Leabharlainne’. An Bosca Leabharlainne is supported by Foras na Gaeilge and the Arts Council of Ireland, and delivered by Children’s Books Ireland. Rocco’s Road to Recovery
Last Friday we held a non-uniform day to raise money for Rocco who was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor. We raised an astonishing €560.
