The senior room had an exciting visit to Letterkenny Library to see professional freestyler Sam Madden in action. Sam is a three-time freestyle champion and has performed at some of the biggest football events in the world including the FIFA World Cup 2022 and UEFA Euro 2020. The Drumman students were treated to a true football extravaganza with Sam demonstrating incredible skills, jaw-dropping tricks and unique freestyle moves.
Not only did Sam perform but he also took the time to coach the students, breaking down some of his most impressive techniques so the children could try them out themselves. It was inspiring to see his passion for football and dedication to sharing his skills with young players. The students loved attempting the tricks, learning new skills and seeing first hand what dedication and practice can achieve.
The session was both educational and fun, combining skill and creativity. Everyone left feeling motivated and full of energy with plenty of new football tricks to practice at home. It was truly a memorable day for all in the senior room!
