Peace Plus Celebration Day at Letterkenny Community Centre was a fantastic way to round off a very successful year of activities and partnership with Portlean NS. Despite the bad weather, spirits stayed high throughout the day and it certainly did not stop the fun or excitement.
The children took part in a wide range of activities including football games, relay races, bouncing castle fun and many more team challenges. There was a wonderful atmosphere all day as pupils mixed together, encouraged one another and enjoyed spending time with friends. It was great to see so much teamwork, cooperation and laughter on display throughout the event.
Days like this highlight the positive friendships and connections that have been built through the Peace Plus programme over the past year. The children represented Drumman so well and fully embraced every activity with enthusiasm and energy.
It was the perfect ending to another successful year of Peace Plus.
